The renovation project
The Langhe sandstone house is a traditional farmhouse (Casale) with the cows/horses in the basement and part of the ground floor was the hayloft. The house has been extended several times when the size of the family grew. On the premises, there is an old stone house (+ 200 years) and 15.000 m2 of private garden, forest, nut-tree plantation, and farmland. The house has undergone a major change from being an abandoned property to a modern, traditional cosy stone house. The traditional building style of the area has been respected in every detail.
